Acrylic Prints
Our Acrylic Print products are printed on 1/8″ inch high density, lightweight Plexiglass with a 3mm PVC backing.
Acrylic is an extremely durable material that well suited for both indoor and outdoor print applications. It is up to 50% lighter than glass, up to 17 times stronger, moisture resistant and is clearer than glass.
Direct Print on Acrylic
At SPS Art & Photo we print your digital file directly onto the Acrylic substrate. The process involves direct print with vibrant UV inks that transfer the color and detail directly onto the Acrylic surface without distortions or color variations. Contrary to some websites that dispute the quality of direct to print Acrylic, todays current print technology as well as advancements in UV print equipment and the composition of high tech plastics has advanced the quality of direct to print Acrylic to where it is as superior in quality to face mounted printing.
An added benefit of direct print to Acrylic is that the process is less labor intensive which translates to a better value for the client.

Wall Mounted float or Standoffs. We offer two types of mounting options to choose from.
Floating Wall Mount – This mounting option is where your Acrylic print is slightly raised away from the wall with a solid hidden backing. It gives your product the appearance of hovering against the wall. By doing so the Float mount option provides dramatic shadows and depth to any fine art piece.
Anodized Silver Standoffs – These are anodized silver aluminum mounts, that come in various widths, that function to secure the printed product to the wall. They are positioned just inside each corner of the Acrylic and protrude slightly from the surface. What separates Standoffs from typical wall mounted fasteners is they add a modern three-dimensional design appearance to the overall presentation.
